It is used for the treatment of a serious form of asthma and rheumatoid arthritis. 6 MG Deflazacort Tablets work by reducing inflammation and allergy and modifying the response of the immune system. These are less potent than prednisone and are usually administered at proportionately higher doses. These are based on the results of seven clinical trials enrolling a total of 160 patients, deflazacort is approximately 25 per cent less potent than prednisone in terms of absolute dosage.
